The Ferry

Femø is in southern Denmark, less than a 2.5-hour drive from Copenhagen. Guests can often carpool with each other or team members, or use public transport.

The journey begins with a 55-minute ferry ride from Kragenæs across calm waters. For many, this gentle crossing becomes the first part of the retreat – the moment where you slow down and enter the “Femø bubble”. This is where time feels different and nature softly welcomes you.

Ferries run roughly every two hours, so we recommend checking the schedule in advance. Most guests leave their cars in Kragenæs and we’re more than happy to meet you at the harbor and bring you to Issemosegaard. Our beautiful peacocks are curious and sometimes find their way to the roof tops of cars, which is why we suggest leaving your car at Kragenæs.

Dodekalitten

Should you by any chance have extra time in Kragenæs, we suggest that you go check out Dodekalitten. It is an artwork constellation that combines sculpture and music in the beautiful landscape of history and creates a very unique experience. It’s definitely worth a visit if you ask us.
