Mary is dedicated to exploring and working with different kinds of sacred medicine. This is for example in the form of body work, yoga, ceremonial cacao ceremonies and through sound and vibration. You can read much more about her work on her own website sacredmedicine.dk
I believe that healing comes from within and that each and every one of us have the ability to heal ourselves. I believe that all the trauma stored in our bodies are keys to connect us to our true essence. Deep down we have to walk our own path but along the way we can support each other on our journeys. I am deeply honoured if the work I do can in any way become a help for you to find new keys within youself.
Massages and Energy Work
As a trained massage therapist (physiological/Swedish style) Mary offers treatments here at Issemosegaard. She works very intuitively and adapts her treatments to your needs – sometimes as a regular oil massage and other times energetic work can be incorporated. You might have sore muscles that need attention, energetic blockages that needs to be released or maybe you just need a relaxing massage to de-stress your nervous system.
It is our core belief that many of the ‘diseases’ in the world today come from blockages or stored energy that we carry around in our bodies. This can for example be trauma we carry around from childhood or emotions that we have held back and not been able to release for one reason or other. Keeping our body and mind in a healthy balance can be the key to avoiding many unnecessary challenges.

Sound Therapy
From science we know that everything has a vibration. All atoms and cells in the human body has its own oscillation and frequency and these are the vibrations that sound therapy works with. In a sound therapy session Mary works intuitively with many different instruments such as singing bowls, rattles, drums, chimes, gong and her voice.
A sound therapy session can be individual or for a group and can take place inside our house or in the tipi during summer. Mary also offers facilitated intuitive singing circles and voice meditation in the silo.
Cacao Ceremonies
Ceremonial cacao has been used for centuries in rituals in Central- and South America and is known to be a great heart opener. Mary is our cacao mama and has a strong connection to the Spirit of Cacao. She has facilitated cacao ceremonies for many years and love the opportunity to incoorporate Cacao in her events.
A cacao ceremony can take many forms and there are probably as many different ways of hosting a cacao ceremony as there are people facilitating them. The ceremonial cacao can for example be combined with a sound therapy session but can also work beautifully on its own.
Shamanic Work
Mary has been working with sacred plant medicine since 2018 and in spring 2021 she went on her first journey to the Peruvian part of the Amazonian rainforest. During her stay she trained for two months with our Shipibo Maestro and received her first Master Plant Dietas.
She loves to sing Icaros (medicine songs) with the plants and is dedicated to studying the Shipibo language. She also offers remote healing sessions – reach out to us if you want to know more.
