Our Community

Deep Spirit is constantly evolving and over the past years something beautiful has begun to emerge; we have created a small community. 

How our community developed 

In the beginning we had a dream of being more than just a retreat place. We just didn’t quite know how to get there or in what form it should be. In January 2021 we decided to slowly open our doors to previous participants and friends of the house who needed a break from the outside world. It turned out that quite a lot of people were looking for that break! Before we knew it out community was under development. Today there are several people living in tiny houses and caravans around in the garden – together we create what is now Deep Spirit.

What does it mean for you?

If you come as a participant to one of our retreats you can expect to also run into some of the people living in our community. Many of the beautiful souls living here also help make the retreats run smoothly by helping out with various tasks such as cooking and cleaning the house. Many of the people living here are also part of our team and will be participating in and around the ceremonies.

What if I wish to rent Issemosegaard?

We are very happy to share our lovely Issemosegaard and also rent out the house. Of course it is a little bit different to rent a house that is in the middle of a community, as there will be other people around. On a practical level this means that there will be people using the kitchen (we limit the use as much as possible of course) and one of the downstairs bathrooms. The rest of the house is yours and free for you to host your private family gathering or maybe your own retreat of some kind.
