Shamanic Work
Ancient Wisdom
No matter which culture you study, you will find that somewhere in the history of that culture, shamanic work of some kind was carried out as a normal practice. These shamans were respected medicine men and women who worked to heal the people of their tribes and villages as well as guide the tribes and villages in times of big challenges and changes. They usually lived in close contact with nature and would use plants and drums as some of their tools to converse with the spirits.
Just like our ancestors we believe that nature holds great powers of healing on many levels. When working with healing through plants and music the focus is not to treat the symptom but rather to address the source. Hence, to find the manifested imbalance in our bodies. These manifestations can show themselves in many forms such as living a dysfunctional life, staying in a dysfunctional environment or even as illnesses affecting the body or mind.
Our Work
We look to the teachings of the Shipibo tribe in the Peruvian Amazon who have an experienced and dedicated way of working with nature. Through their teachings and knowledge of the plants we have learned to reconnect with nature and ourselves on a deeper level.
We facilitate retreats, workshops and other events where we combine our skills and knowledge from all areas such as music, sound healing, yoga, therapy and plants as medicine. Our goal is to help you expand your awareness and get closer to who you are as a person. Therefore, it is very important for us that you feel safe and secure at our place and in our surroundings.
