How to get here
The Island
Femø is located in the Southern part of Denmark less than a 2,5 hour drive from Copenhagen. If you are attending one of our retreats there us usually an opportunity to carpool with other retreat participants or someone from the team. We always try to make it as easy for everyone to get here as possible, but it is of course also possible to reach the island with public transportation.
The Ferry
In order to get to Femø you need to take the ferry from Kragenæs. This journey takes about 55 minutes and for many of our visitors this becomes the symbol of leaving everything back home behind and the beginning of entering the famous ‘Femø bubble’.
The ferry runs every 2 hours more or less so we advise that you check out the timetable and plan your journey in advance so you don’t end up with unnecessary waiting time in Kragenæs. You can check out the timetable by clicking HERE.
It is important that you book a spot on the ferry in advance whether you bring a car or not. We recommend leaving your car in Kragenæs and we can arrange to come and pick you up by the harbour on Femø. One of the reasons for this is that our peacocks are very fond of shiny cars and might jump up on top of them.
Dodekalitten
Should you by any chance have extra time in Kragenæs, we suggest that you go check out Dodekalitten. It is an artwork constellation that combines sculpture and music in the beautiful landscape of history and creates a very unique experience. It’s definitely worth a visit if you ask us.
